注意：many,old和far比較級及高級用法的區(qū)別

①如果后接名詞時，much more +不可數(shù)名詞，many more +可數(shù)名詞復(fù)數(shù)。

②old有兩種比較級和高級形式: older/oldest 和elder/eldest。elder，eldest只用于兄弟姐妹的長幼關(guān)系。

3)人稱代詞還可作表語。作表語時用賓格。

【例】The driver released the clutch to engage the gears and make his car go. 司機松開離合器，讓齒輪銜接，這樣汽車就開動起來了。

【例】Some people believe that children's leisure activities must be educational, otherwise they are a complete waste of time. 有些人認為孩子們的休閑活動必須具有教育意義，否則那完全就是浪費時間。

【例】Harold was the first chancellor of our university. 哈羅德是我們大學(xué)的第一任校長。
