Or is Blume worth more because her portrayals of teen life affect many meaningful criteria of judging worth.

但是從第一段就可以看出作者重復性的句子太多了，句式缺少一定的變化。

分析：假設額外取出的11顆糖果中有x顆紅色，則綠色有11－x顆。要使總共取出的糖果中紅色的比綠色的多，則3＋x＞4＋（11－x）x＞6。所以在額外取出的11顆糖果中，最少要有7顆紅色的，才能使總的紅色糖果數量大于綠色糖果數量。

從句意上看，“當某人拿起電話，他或她就是在使用現代最偉大的發明之一”。

在英語中，為使表達簡潔，常用代詞指代句中出現過的名詞。這個代詞要和指代對象在人稱和數方面保持一致。如出現Mary，則代詞只能是she（主格）或her（賓格）。如指代對象是students，則代詞只能是they（主格）或them（賓格）。當然，這只是代詞指代的基本常識。

同時，語言非常地道，即使看上去很簡單的句子，反映的也是典型的美式思維。
